[Game] Pokémon Art Academy & my drawings

To start my blog, I'll write about a (not) game on my Nintendo 3ds, Pokemon Art Academy!

I'll have you know, in Vietnam, video game consoles are a luxury that not every people can afford. They're more popular now that the economy of the country is growing, but people nowaday prefer computers and iPad than consoles.

I knew about video games consoles (and Pokemon!) since I was small, but I could only get my first handheld when I went to France, in an exchange program of my university, five years ago. I love my European Nintendo 3ds too much even till this day. Since then I have bought a US New Nintendo 3ds, and maybe a PS4 or Switch later this year, if my payment allows it.

Pokemon Art Academy is one of the first I bought on my 3ds. It's not a game; rather, it's an app to draw and to teach you to draw to some extend. It's somewhat limited though. If you want to draw on the 3ds, I think Colors!3d or the new Disney Art Academy is better, because they have layers. The Comic Worshop app is good too; it's like Photoshop Lite, but is not very responsive and its output is not as smooth. The Butterfly - Inchworm animation 2 is even better, but is very complicated.

Still, I prefer the brushed on the Art Academy than Colors!3d. I need to learn more about digital drawing to draw with Colors!3d I think.

I draw some pictures with reference from the Pokemon games (mostly X, at the time of buying).
